Superintendent Fagen’s costly mistakes have a negative effect on the children of DCSD, yet in Dr. Fagen’s latest employment review the Board of Education gave her the highest rating possible and a $16,000 bonus. Is this good business sense?
Details on the $4.2 million penalty can be found HERE.
Parent analysis of the District transparency website, meetings, emails and CORA requests have shown the cost of the new Pay for Performance system to be at least $16 million at present, yet only 30% of DCSD teachers think this evaluation process accurately identifies effectiveness, as compared to 44% statewide.
